While I was teaching, I also served as my district's AVID Coordinator — which meant spending a lot of time thinking about how we prepare students for what comes next: college, career, and a world that keeps changing faster than our textbooks can keep up.
Today, I partner with 65 school districts across the country on curriculum adoption and student learning. That work keeps me close to what teachers actually need — not theory, not buzzwords, but real tools for real classrooms.
